How long is a Spotify Canvas?
Spotify accepts 3 to 8 seconds. Every loop LimePulse builds is exactly 8 seconds, the longest allowed, so there is no length setting to get wrong.
Will the loop stutter when it repeats?
No. Every motion in the studio is written as a function of the loop position, so the first and last frames line up by construction.
Do I need After Effects or any video software?
No. The editor runs in the browser and the render runs on our servers. You need a cover image and a few minutes.
How do I upload it to Spotify?
Download the MP4 from your library and add it to the track in Spotify for Artists. The file is already the shape and length Spotify asks for.
