Rendering and downloading

What happens when you press Render, how long it takes, what to do if it fails, and where the finished MP4 ends up.

Rendering happens on our machines, not yours. You can close the tab, shut the laptop or start another project while it runs, and the finished file will be waiting.

How long does a render take?

It depends on the length of the track and how heavy the scene is, not on your computer. A three minute song in a typical template is usually a few minutes. A very busy Compose scene with several reactive elements takes longer, because every frame has more to draw.

The progress bar is real: it reports frames actually finished, not a guess against a clock.

Why is my render queued?

Renders run in a limited number of slots so that each one gets enough of the machine to finish quickly. If every slot is busy, your job waits its turn and starts automatically. You do not need to keep the page open.

Where does the finished video go?

To your library, under Rendered videos, with a download button. From there you can also publish straight to YouTube.

What if a render fails?

Start it again. Most failures are transient. If the same project fails twice, see troubleshooting renders.

Is there a watermark?

No. Every file a subscriber renders comes out clean, at full resolution, in every studio. There is no watermarked free export and no upsell inside the file.
