Which audio and image files LimePulse accepts, how long a track can be, what makes good cover art for a moving video, and how uploads are reused across projects.
Every studio starts with a file you own. Here is what is accepted, and what makes the result look better.
Which audio formats are supported?

Mono and stereo are both fine. The audio in the finished video is your original file, untouched: LimePulse never re-encodes your master into something worse.
How long can a track be?
A song of any normal length is fine. A podcast episode can run up to 3 hours. A Spotify Canvas loop is deliberately short at 8 seconds, because Spotify's own guidelines put a Canvas at 3 to 8 seconds.
Which image formats are supported?
- PNG, including transparency
- JPEG
- WebP
- GIF, though only its first frame is used in a render
What makes good cover art for a video?
Artwork that looks great as a thumbnail does not always look great moving. A few things help:
- Square and at least 1000 x 1000 pixels, so it stays sharp when a template scales it up
- A clear focal point, because many templates crop or rotate the art
- Enough contrast that text placed over it stays readable
- Avoid artwork that already contains a border or a frame, which fights the template's own framing

Do I need cover art at all?
No. Some templates are built around type and motion rather than a picture, and Compose, the visualizer builder, can compose a frame with no artwork in it. If you want art but do not have any, the plan includes 200 AI-generated covers a month, described in plans and pricing.
Are my uploads reused between projects?
Yes. Anything you upload lands in your library, so the same track or cover can be pulled into another project without uploading it again. Deleting an upload from the library removes it everywhere.
