Publishing to YouTube

Send a finished render straight to your YouTube channel: connecting the account, setting the title, description, tags and visibility, and what stays under your control.

A finished render can go straight to YouTube without downloading it and uploading it again.

How it works

1. Open the render in your library and choose YouTube
2. Connect your Google account the first time; after that it is remembered
3. Set the title, description, tags, category and visibility
4. Publish, and it uploads from our servers rather than from your connection

Does it publish publicly straight away?

Only if you choose that. Private and unlisted are both available, and private is the safer default if you want to schedule the release yourself from YouTube.

What does it upload?

The rendered file exactly as it is, at full resolution: 3840 x 2160 at 60 frames a second for a landscape visualizer. See YouTube video specs for what YouTube does with it afterwards.

Can I disconnect my YouTube account?

Yes, from your account page. Disconnecting removes our access; it does nothing to videos already uploaded.
